| In her 91st year on Saturday, January 31st Shirley passed away at SouthlakeHospital in Newmarket Ontario. She was born in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, lived in Toronto, San Juan PR, Miami, Vero Beach, Oakville & Aurora.
She had been in the hospital since December 27. Over the days that she was there I had a lot of time to talk, comfort and reflect with her. Shirley lived a wonderful and full life and was rich with a loving family and friends. She loved to play tennis, bridge and entertain. She was at peace. She has chosen to be cremated and her ashes will be taken to Nova Scotia to be interned with her parents-a little bit of Bob will go with her as well. A service will be held in Aurora. Joanne Mele |
